CBN Times - A local government in China has reported that there is a coronavirus that can cause COVID-19 on the outer packaging of frozen seafood from Dalian City, an area in the country that has recently recorded a sudden increase in cases of the disease.

The virus was discovered on the packaging of frozen goods after three companies bought them in Yantai, a port city in eastern Shandong province.



According to the Yantai city government, the products were part of an imported shipment that landed in Dalian, but did not specify their original origin.

Recently, customs officers in Dalian also said that they also discovered coronavirus on the outer packaging of frozen shrimps originating in Ecuador, prompting China to suspend imported products from three Ecuadorean shrimp producers.
